Education Programs Professional

The Education Programs Professional is responsible for the oversight and monitoring of assigned state and federal programs which includes developing and maintaining policies and procedures regarding state and federal programs, providing technical assistance regarding these programs, reviewing school-level reports and compiling agency-level reports pertaining to these programs, serving as a liaison to the Nevada Department of Education for assigned state and federal programs, and providing training on these programs in alignment to identified needs. In addition, the Education Programs Professional is responsible for receiving, reviewing and where appropriate, facilitating resolutions to constituent concerns regarding school programs.

Management Analyst II

This is a Management Analyst 2 position with the State Public Charter School located in Carson City, Nevada. Under the general direction of the Director of Finance & Operations and the Director of School Support, the incumbent will be responsible for the management and coordination of the agency's risk-based sub-recipient monitoring of charter schools. This includes maintaining comprehensive, documented risk-based monitoring protocols and procedures; analyzing fiscal and programmatic data to determine risk scores; performing desktop and onsite sub-recipient monitoring; coordinating and scheduling monitoring meetings, visits, and training; providing technical assistance to schools; and drafting risk-based monitoring correspondence. The incumbent must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills will work independently, can utilize various software applications to organize team tasks, and can motivate work product completion in a team.
